The Samsung 5A USB-C to USB-C Cable (model EP-DN975) is the official 5-amp rated cable that Samsung requires for its 45W Super Fast Charging 2.0. Without a 5A cable, a Samsung 45W adapter can only deliver around 25W to your phone. This cable unlocks the full 45W speed.
It is the exact same cable Samsung ships in the retail bundle with the EP-TA845 45W Power Adapter and with Galaxy S22 Ultra to S25 Ultra fast charging bundles. Beyond Samsung, it also works with any USB-C device that supports Power Delivery, including iPhone, iPad, MacBook Air, and Android phones, at speeds up to 100W.
Every unit has Samsung branding printed on the cable wrap and a Samsung E-marker chip inside the connector. iOS and Samsung devices read this chip to negotiate the correct charging speed.
Note: This cable ships in OEM paper-wrap packaging pulled from Samsung retail bundles. This is standard for the 5A cable and is 100 percent genuine Samsung product, just not in an individual retail box.
